The coral reefs of Playa del Carmen and Cozumel are part of the second longest barrier reef in the world (the Great Barrier Reef in Australia is the longest). Starting in the Yucatan Peninsula, the reef reaches all the way down to Costa Rica.

Playa del Carmen is a perfect destination for divers of all levels, and non-divers alike. Many of the great dive sites of Playa del Carmen are very near to where we are located, so we don't have to travel far to go diving.

Diving in Playa del Carmen is great year round. In winter time, the warm Carribean Sea drops a few degrees, which brings in interesting wildlife from deeper waters, such as dolphins and sharks. In the summer, the Sea is often calm and amazingly blue. The visibility underwater is fantastic: 30 m / 100 ft is not unusual!
